Custos is one number for your family's health — real people who handle the calls, the queues, and the paperwork, so you can stay with the person who matters.
A worried family deserves a calm, capable person on the other end of the line.
A family in a hospital corridor at 2 a.m., holding a folder of documents no one had explained to them, being sent between three counters — while the person they loved lay in a bed down the hall. The medicine was available. The doctors were skilled. The hospital was capable. What was missing was someone whose only job was to look after them.
Because when someone in the family falls ill, the patient isn't the only one who suffers. Whoever picks up the phone inherits a second job overnight — chasing ambulances, arguing with insurers, queuing for reports, and trying to hold a job and a household together at the same time.
We built Custos because that load shouldn't fall on one exhausted person at the worst possible moment. One call to us, and a real coordinator takes it from there — medical support, diagnostics, and insurance, coordinated end to end. Custos is Latin for guardian, keeper, protector: the one entrusted with what matters most. We chose the name as a description of the job, not a decoration for it.
We're based in Kolkata and built for families here: coordinators who know the local hospitals, labs, and routes, working with NABL-accredited partners and on your side with every insurer and TPA.
To take the entire operational burden of healthcare off the family, so their attention can go where it belongs — to the person who needs them.
We do it by absorbing every logistical, administrative and coordination task that surrounds medical care — hospitalisation, insurance, transport, caregiving, appointments, medicines and monitoring — and running it with the organisation, urgency and warmth we'd want for our own parents.
A city — and then a country — where no family faces a medical crisis alone or unprepared.
Where care doesn't begin at the emergency room. Where a parent living alone is checked on every week, by name. Where insurance quietly works instead of becoming a battle you're too tired to fight. Where distance between a child and a parent no longer means a gap in care.
Everything we do comes back to one idea: a worried family deserves a calm, capable person on the other end of the line.
A named human owns your situation. No queues, no “please hold,” no re-explaining your story to a new agent every time.
Plain-language updates at every step on WhatsApp, so you always know what’s happening and what comes next.
We answer to your family, not to a hospital or an insurer. Our only job is the best outcome for the person you love.
You set up your family once, calmly. So when the hard day comes, there are no forms — just one call.
The most valuable thing we do often happens on an ordinary Tuesday — a reminder taken, a symptom caught early, a check-up that didn’t get skipped.
We’re expert coordinators and advocates, not your doctors, and we never pretend otherwise. Clinical decisions belong to your physicians; making sure they’re scheduled, supported and followed through belongs to us.
Whether you're standing in a hospital corridor right now or planning ahead for parents who insist they're fine, it starts the same way: set your family up while everything's calm, and one call covers the rest.
