How Custos collects, uses, and protects your family's health information.
Last updated: 1 July 2026
Custos Health Custody Private Limited ("Custos", "we", "us") operates the Custos Health service. We take your family's health information seriously and process it in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
We use your information only to run the services you ask for — arranging ambulances, hospital admissions, diagnostics, medicines, and home care; filing and following up on insurance claims; keeping your family's health record in one place; and sending you updates. We do not sell your personal or health data to anyone.
We share information only with the parties needed to deliver a service you have requested — for example, hospitals, diagnostic labs, ambulance providers, pharmacies, insurers, and their TPAs — and only to the extent required. These partners are expected to protect your data and use it solely for your service. We may also disclose information where required by law or a competent authority.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and we limit access to staff who need it to serve you. Health data is kept confidential and used only for coordinating your family's care.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can withdraw consent at any time — though some services may no longer be available if you do. To make a request, write to us at care@custoshealth.com.
